Karen Kingsbury Debuts at #1 on New York Times Bestseller list with Latest Zondervan Novel, Loving
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 23, 2012—Karen Kingsbury debuted at #1 on The New York Times Bestseller list (Trade Fiction) with her latest release, Loving (March 26, 2012), the much anticipated final installment in the Bailey Flanigan series.
Kingsbury said, “I am beyond grateful to my reader friends and my team at Zondervan, along with my agent Rick Christian for their belief in me and for their work on seeing Loving hit #1. But more than anything, I am grateful to God. This doesn't happen outside His moving mountains to make it possible.”
“Having Karen reach the #1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list has been a significant goal at Zondervan,” says Tracy Danz, vice president and publisher of trade books at Zondervan. “We are very blessed for this achievement and to share Karen’s strong message of faith and hope.”
In Loving, Bailey is planning a wedding and making decisions that will shape her future. Bailey enjoys the beginning of her new career and time spent with Brandon while Cody faithfully coaches his team on and off the field. Will she spend her life with Brandon Paul in Los Angeles, or will her heart draw her back to Bloomington, Indiana and Cody Coleman, her first love? Bailey has learned much and grown over the years, but the greatest challenges, the richest joys, and the deepest heartaches are still to come.
This July, Zondervan is also releasing Coming Home by Karen Kingsbury, a stand-alone novel, that concludes the saga of the much loved Baxter Family. As the Baxters make plans to come together for a family reunion, the unthinkable happens. As the family rallies together, healing and hopeful memories come to light in the grief-stricken hours of waiting and praying.
