Buket Erdogan

Buket Erdogan was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. After studying Turkish textiles, she moved across the ocean to New York to design children’s clothing and illustrate children’s books. She illustrated the Mouse’s First series published by Simon and Schuster, three of which were New York Times bestsellers. She lives in Brooklyn with 'the most inspiring artist,' her daughter, Yagmur. Buket paints with bold colors of acrylic with lots of exciting textures of canvas.
