Orlando Boyer

Orlando Boyer was a missionary with the Church of Christ. He arrived in Mata Grande, Brazil in 1927 where he spent four years learning the language, evangelizing and opening works along railway cities hostile to the gospel. Upon returning to the United States, he and his wife joined the Assemblies of God after experiencing a baptism in the Holy Spirit. They were then returned to Brazil by the missionary department of the Assemblies of God in Oklahoma. He remained determined in continuing his work, first as a teacher and then translating books refusing any comfort or royalty payment for his books.
