Tim Ellsworth

Tim Ellsworth is director of news and media relations at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. A native of Southern Illinois, Tim previously worked as associate editor of the Illinois Baptist and director of news and information at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim is the author of God in the Whirlwind: Stories of Grace from the Tornado at Union University. He is also the editor of Baptist Press Sports. Over the years, he has written countless articles illuminating the interaction between faith and sports. Tim has interviewed hundreds of people, including celebrities, athletes, politicians, statesman, and educators, as well as countless people from everyday walks of life. He and his wife, Sarah, have three children---Daniel, Emmalee, and Noah.
